I trained in Five Element Acupuncture in the early 1990s at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, Leamington Spa, UK. The College was founded by J R Worsley in the 1950s to pass on the style of acupuncture he had learnt in Southeast Asia. My main teachers were Alan Hext, Niki Bilton and Ian Florian. J R Worsley made annual teaching visits from his home in the US.

In my twenties I was working in publishing in London and on the recommendation of my acupuncturist I visited the College where she had trained. The nature of the five elements and how acupuncture works seemed both practical and mysterious to me and I applied to study there. I graduated with a Licentiate of Acupuncture (LicAc) in 1995 and have worked as a Five Element Acupuncturist in Sydney ever since. I love working with this style of acupuncture and seeing the beneficial changes it can facilitate in people.

I am registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia under AHPRA and am a professional member of AACMA (Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association).
